Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Need help? Take a look at some of our most Frequently Asked Questions.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes! We want to give you our undivided attention whilst you’re with us. You can make an appointment by calling 01034 783282 or using the online booking form.

How many guests can I bring?

We know how exciting sharing this moment with loved ones can be. We don't have a limit but advise you to bring along the people whose opinion may matter and who you trust.

What should I expect at my appointment?

Our appointment lasts 2 hours which allows plenty of time to try on as many gowns as possible. Hopefully within this time we can narrow them down to find “ The One”.

What underwear should I wear?

If you would like to wear a strapless bra that would work well and then your underwear won’t interfere with the neckline of the dresses you try on.

If you want to remove your bra to get a better idea of how your dress will look on your wedding day, then please feel free and comfortable to do so.

What sample sizes do you stock in store?

Sizes 8-26 so there’s every chance you’ll be trying a dress on that isn’t your size so you’ll need a little bit of imagination! We use clips and pins to hold the sample dresses in place whilst you try them on.

Please be aware when trying wedding dresses on, they are normally 1-2 sizes bigger than your normal high street size.

Can I take photos?

We do allow photography in the boutique but always advise you to never pick your dress from the picture as this doesn’t give you a true reflection of how you’ll look on your wedding day. All dresses will need altering in some way so it’s tailored to you.

How do I order my dress?

The majority of gowns take 6-8 months to arrive in store. We require a 50% non refundable deposit to place the order. Once your dress arrives at the boutique we will invite you back in to try her on and clear your balance within 14 days of us receiving your dress.

Do you offer payment plans?

We do offer a payment plan for brides who have more than 12 months to their wedding date.

Do I need to take my dress home once in comes in?

We can store your wedding dress with our store and insure service for a cost of £50. This means we will look after your dress right up to the week of your wedding.

Where do I go for my alterations?

We provide a fitting service in house. We have an amazing team of highly qualified seamstresses to tailor your dress to your needs. Please be aware this is a service we offer but you’re also welcome to use your own seamstress if that works best for you.

Do you sell bridesmaid dresses?

Yes! We have a good selection of bridesmaid dresses available in store. These take approximately 3 months to arrive into store as these are also made to measure.
